nooo don't. you will see a power loss. a big power loss. and it will run weird. i have 3 to 4ft of pipe on it and now it runs great. just saying if yore gonna do it put at least 2ft of pipe with a turn down on it. then they sound good. i will take a video tomorrow

There's a video on Youtube of someone that did it. Sounds like you'd expect. Like a tractor.

You obviously know nothing about tractors. lol

We have around 5-6 here on the farm that are gas. Got 3 that are deisel.

At idle this sounds pretty darned close to a tractor.. At least it sounds like some of ours.

This one sounds really close (at idle) to one of our Allis Chalmers C's.

Is everything else in your exhaust system stock?
I'm thinking about gettin the same set up you have and i want it to sound just like yours as yours is the best sounding setup i've found so far.

Re: anyone take exhaust off at the cats?

I have a 99 4.0 and personally i like that sound without the muffler better than some exhausts. It shook my cab when it was unbolted at the cat, so i ran it out before the rear tire, now it sounds way better. I mean with 4 cats, it's all the dampening you need. Just my two cents. Anyone have a cherrybomb extreme?
