ranger and mazda the same?
 
is this true is the ranger and Mazda b2200 the same? i found a site that clams its get 45 to 50 more horse out of the 2.3 from Mazda is this the same 2.3 i have? and do you think a tuner exhaust and CAI would give it that 50 more houses

The Mazda 2.3 has VVT & the Ford 2.3 doesnt

What does your engine need 50 houses for? It'll be just fine under the hood of your truck.

it is also called vct for cam timing the contours had that in the 2.0

The Mazda B2300 has the same version of the motor that the Ranger has, so no VVT on it. The Mazda3 like my wife drives though, has the VVT. And BTW, its only 20hp more.

The Mazda B-series is the same as the Ranger, it uses the RWD platform DuraTech motor that the Ranger uses.

The Mazda cars use the VVT enhanced version of the Duratech motor.

the ranger and mazda b are the same in just about every part except a few dress up parts
