A couple questions
1. If I order a system online, specifically sonic electronix, and I take everything I ordered into an audio place would they install it for me, even though I didn't buy the stuff from them?
I can get a whole system on SE for just under $600. Whereas if I bought everything in store, it would run me over $700. 2. I'm only running 2 speakers in my truck because it's a standard cab, and the rear speakers don't really make a difference. (theres currently no rear speakers, but it's not even noticable because the cab is small.) Here's my second question: What amp would I need to run 2 speakers and a 10" Kicker CVT sub? (400 watts RMS 800 watts peak) Would a 4-channel amp work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
Re: A couple questions
To answer a few yes a 4 channel will work with your door speaker i run memphis all around with a 4 channel. I like mono for the subs you can bridge the 4 to run the sub better if you want. A shop most the time will do the install sometimes they like you to buy it from them though its all up to the store.

Re: A couple questions
If they are interested in customer service they would do it. I would assume they would probably charge you a small instllation fee,for their time though.

Yes, most places offer installation for a price.

Re: A couple questions
Pretty much any shop will install something that did not come from their store. Make sure you buy a single 4 or dual 2 sub so that you end up with a 4 ohm load otherwise the amp will not work. I put a lot of setups in using a crescendo 4 channel amp. Does 125x2 for the front components and 500x1 bridged on the rear channels to a sub. Great amps for this type of budget setup.
