Trying to get a tach in my 00 Ranger. I have a 3.0L Flex Fuel and was wondering if one with a tach would be a plug and play? :hmmmm:

Anything from 1998-2003 will work in yours I believe all 2001-2003 have tachs on them. Not positive

use www.car-part.com search all salvage yards in your state.

Yes, starting in 2001 ALL Rangers got a tachometer. Not sure about the B-series though. Also, isn't that the same year that ALL Rangers got 4 wheel ABS?

Engine size doesn't matter at all.
Just get a tach cluster from the SAME generation as yours and its plug and play for the most part, if not 100%.
Don't forget to set the odometer if you also replace the speedo head!

i did that...mines outta an explorer
as long as its your generation vehicle its plug and play
(mine is a 2000)
