Ps3 Who has one?
 

I know this is proly gonna sound dumb but I got a ps3 today used. For 200.00 It's a 80 gig. One controler. I have the audio ports hooked up, the red white and yellow from the ps3 to the tv but no signal. Do I have to have a hdmi? My tv doesn't have that plug in.

You got a good deal on it if it works. If your TV isnt HDMI compatible then no you dont need a HDMI plug. also by no signal do you mean that you cannot see or hear the PS3 main menu?

hold down the power button on the front till it beeps twice it should work then (thats what switches from hdmi to AV cables)

You're not getting your moneys worth with A/V cables. Like mentioned above your PS3 output is set to HDMI and not A/V.

Thanks man It worked. I appreciate the help. As soon as I figure out my gamer tag sn I'll post it. So the only game I got right now is Smackdown vs Raw 2011 Imma go get cod the new one. Everyone post up your gamer tag names.

Where do I go to connect to wifi and How? I'm asking a lot of questions cause I don't know. I'v never had a ps3 sorry for all the dumb questions

its fine man. haha well for starters make sure your wifi is on. if so then go to system setting.(its all the way to the left of the main menu right next to where yoiu log in) then go all the way to the bottom and it should say network settings. click on that and click on the first option it should shjow you all your wifi information. then go and click out of that and in the same place you clicked on that it should say test network connection. do that and then look at your playstation and it should have a green light flashing as well as an orange light flashing too this means your connected. then just go sign in and create a gamer tag information and your set! anymore problems just let me know. ill help all i can.
