no start when cold

in the mornings i have to use carb cleaner to start my truck. its a 88 2.3l. there are no codes and i ran test on all sensors and there in range. but the injector pulse is 3x longer than it should causing it to flood out or idle really bad for several min. plus the fuel pump stays on insted of only coming on for a sec.then after about 10min or so it all just clears up and runs great. then i can kill it for just a second and it does it again even when its been ran all day. im leaning toward the computer but doeas anybody have any other ideas b4 i buy a computer

it finally died. i tore into it and found the injectors had no power any more. after futher tests i found a capasitor inside the comp blew and leaked the fluid out slowly. thats why it did work for a little while and just ran bad

Well that would certainly do it. Sucks.

Re: no start when cold

I put the computer in it and it still has no injector pulse does anybody know what sensor the computer uses as a trigger to fire the injectors?
