NEW 4 Way Trailer Wiring Connection Kit (KY)
I've got one of these that's never been opened...
http://www.harborfreight.com/media/c...image_3637.jpg It's from Harbor Freight, item #96658 currently on sale for $12.99 +shipping. 4 Way Trailer Wiring Connection Kit. It was too cold in the garage to mess with the camera today, so that's the image from HF. I'd like to get $8.00 + shipping (or best reasonable offer) for mine. There's a little dust & dirt on the package but I'll even clean it off before it ships out. I've got a couple of these wired into my led bar above my roll pan. The wire's aren't heavy gauge (I'm guessing 18ga) but they get the job done. UPDATE: Just got the specs. Includes 25' color coded 4 flat trailer end connector and 4' color coded 4 flat end connector. Durable molded connectors with 22ga wires. |

After Christmas BUMP.
I know it's too cold to be hauling anything right now, but there's no reason you can't get the parts to fix up your trailer now :D |

Bump just for the sake of bumping

Re: NEW 4 Way Trailer Wiring Connection Kit (KY)
can this kit be used to splice into the already factory trailer harness, the reason i asked is because that way I don't have to unhook my recon light bar when i and towing my trailer, instead i should be able to do both right?

Re: NEW 4 Way Trailer Wiring Connection Kit (KY)
I don't see why not.
Just tap into each of the 4 wires from the OEM trailer wiring & tie everything up out of the way. Basically you'd be making a Y connector. Plug the recon bar into the "new" connector & you'll have your OEM connector open to use when towing. I used them (I have a few sets) for a similar setup... I tapped into my tail lights to run down to my led strips on my roll pan so whenever I took the roll pan off I didn't have to cut the wires. I've since consolidated all the wiring into a single OEM connector from an Expo. & don't need the trailer wiring kits. |
