auto or manual does not matter for cruise control. IIRC you should be mostly prewired, easiest bet would be getting a whole steering wheel assembly with the CC pods on it.
EDIT: Or you can look aftermarket. |

Okay I have done this to my son 2001 5-speed manual, Here are the parts you need.
1- steering wheel (be sure to get the one that has the cruise buttons on it, it transfers right over to yours, factory wires from the dash hook right up to them, and make sure you get one from a manual if possible otherwise you will have a dummy arm, lol I made a funny :) ) 2- Servo unit ( i think you know what this is right? its the mechanical box that sits on the fender wall on the passenger side under the hood and connects to your throttle by a cable) 3- Thats it, you should already be pre-wired for it, cruise on a manual is great and you usually will get the added benefit of a tilt steering column also. Be sure you grape the Gem module out of the donor vehicle, of course making sure it's your year or comparable, Don't ask me why I suggest this, They are cheap at JY and you can never go wrong about having another. |

would this also work for a 2000 ford ranger 4cyl 5 speed?
