Seatbelt Warning Sticker Removal Help

OK guys, call me OCD, but....

You know those big (approx 3x4) seatbelt warning stickers that are on your visor?? Well.....I have a fabric/cloth interior and I am afraid to pull them off without harming the cloth, ripping the sticker in 1000 peices, or leaving yucky non-removal residue behind.

Does anyone have experience pulling these stickers off your cloth visor? If so, please advise...

Thanks!

Not sure of how to remove with out completely destroying...so how about re-wrapping them? Just cover the OEM stuff.

Good idea, but I'm not good at stuff like that.... and if I did it would look like a turban when I got done with it.

well if you don't care if it is 100% clean, just make sure one side is perfect and the other can show the seams and such.

dammit! haha. hmm, I am trying to remember if explorers had that as well. You can take them to an upholsterer and have them recover them for ya...shouldn't charge ya too much.

I took mine off along time ago. I just basically peeled them of very carefully. The only issue I had was a little bit of backing or something that was left on the drivers side visor and honestly the only reason it is still there is just because I have not done anything to it. If you look in the pics you can see what I mean in the upper left. Good Luck. By the way they did not deform or stretch or anything. just take your time because it is a PITA.

You might take your wifes iron to see if it will get the glue to release a little? Then slowly peel them off.:dontknow:
