sport stepside???
 

My dad swears up and down he saw a guys truck at church tonight and it was a white stepside sport??? Did they ever make this? Or is my dad crazy??

as far as i know, there weren't sports until 98. 93-96 any stepsides are splash's. 97 you could get an xlt with a stepside bed, plus they still had splash's. and if you were really lucky, you could get a 98 with the "splash" package.

no, its not. trust me. first year of the sports were 98 and ended in 2000, then they had edges and xl/xlt's. as of what, about 07 they brought sport back?

ok then maybe i dont know what im talking about lol. maybe it was a splash. easy to ix up when you just get a glance of it

2006 was the return of the sport. Sport cam back when they dropped EDGE off and named that cross over SUV the EDGE.

2005 may have been the last year for the stepside.

i believe 04 was the year they discontinued the step side bed and there are still 04 edges not sure about after tat though

According to the Ford literature(brochures), the last year of the stepside/flareside box was the '04 model year. I always thought it was '05 but there's no mention of flareside in the '05 brochure.

93-98 = Splash
99-00 = Sport
01-05 = Edge
06+ = Sport

And just 'cause it's a steppie, doesn't mean it's a splash or sport or edge...
