I have a 2002 ford ranger. When i turn my lights on my tail lights wont work but my brake lights do when i go to stop. Any solutions?

Have you checked the bulbs? Each bulb, if I correctly recall, has two filaments; one filament for tail lights and turn indicator and the second filament for brake.

Have you checked the fuses? Otherwise it might be the switch.

i checked the fuses and i checked the bulbs, there good. This is very strange. My reverse lights work, my break lights, but not my tail lights.

The switch I mentioned would be the headlight control switch. Do your headlights and fog lights work? You probably know, but there are three possible fuses to check; two in the passenger compartment panel and one in the engine compartment panel.

X2 on the brake light switch. Easy to fix if that's it.
