Here are a few photos I took today downtown. Yes I converted one of them to b&w. Let me know what ya'll think.

In the first photo, this used to be used as a Cigar house. It is located in the Historical West End of Greenville. Coca Cola was used in 1891.It was recently repainted. They did an awesome job on making it look authentic!

"As far as History there is a lot. It is located at 660. South Main st. West End Greenville. A few doors down from the Cigar warehouse. These are reportedly in the oldest commercial buildings still in use in the city. Supposedly General Wade Hampton spoke upstairs at a meeting of the SC Democratic Party sometimes prior to the end of the Civil War. The Army Store building was constructed about 1890. The current owner Jeff Zaglin is a second-generation “surpie” and son of the founder."

Thank you David. I realized. I wanna do more b&w. So I figured, why not take two of the same shot so I can have one color and one b&w. I think I may use the first one in the contest haha.

I also like the first two but to me the black and white is awesome!
Sepia tone, rough up the borders and it would look like an authenic old photograph.

I am a big fan of black and white pics, but in this case I really like the colors, very nice!

Gah!!!! lol This is so hard to choose. I may go shooting again Sunday since I actually got that day off. I will put a voting poll up and let ya'll decide for me. Thank ya'll for the kind words.
