Justin needs to sticky this in the Exterior Section

Great info cause there are a lot of wheels out there people wouldn't even think about being 5 on 4.5

you might wanna check the backspacing, but i remember something about rangers and jeeps were near identical when it came to wheels. im pretty sure you could fit 30s on those if the backspacing is right

hondarider94 08-26-2009 07:08 PM

how do you check the back spacing? what should it be at if i want to run 30s or 31s?

surfer03133 08-26-2009 07:28 PM

it should be stock, which i believe is close to 3.75 inches or 4 inches, id double check that. btw im running 30s on stock 15x7s with no lift, i dont rub at all, except on my swaybar, thats another story though

blueovelboy 09-26-2009 10:00 PM

sweet you got 30s no rub

Jay FX4 09-27-2009 08:27 AM

There was a guy on TRS with some newer Cadillac rims on his 2wd Ranger. Looked sweet.

Here's a link on how to measure everything...

I have a 93 STX that have the stock wheels ( 15x7 ) with tire size 31x10.50R15LT all around. Am I correct in thinking the 31 is the height of the tire? If so, they have been working fine with no rubbing for several years.
