Help removing interior door panel

I have a 96 Ranger I need to get the interior door panel off of. On the passenger door I cannot unlock the door from outside with the key. The key turns no problem, but the door does not unlock. I'm guessing a rod came off from the key lock to the mechanism that actually does the unlocking. I need to remove the door panel to fix it. What type off clips or pins hold the door panel on? I do not want to start pulling or prying on the door panel and break it when trying to remove it. I know there a two or three screws I need to take out around the inside door handle first. But then what next to get the door panel off?

Thanks, John

It should be held on by screws. Take the handle bezel off, take the panel screws out then lift up on the panel and pull it off

Mine don't have power doors or windows...So how do I get the window crank off? I don't see a clip on there like the older ones....Mine is an 01. Thanks.
