3rd brake light for a cap

I put a cap on my ranger for the winter and i want to wire the 3rd brake light. I dont want to tap into one of the taillights and have it blink when that blinker is on. Is there a 3rd brake light wire like the fullsizes have? i cant seem to see one back behind the bumper.

I wish I still had my info on this. Some 04 and after had a wire you could tap into on the trail harness some didn't. I think it was a green wire. Otherwise you would have to run a wire all the way to the cab and tap into your 3rd brake light there.

Do you have the towing package with the trailer harness?

I do believe that Rangers without the towing package have the harness anyway...

Where the plug is follow it back up into the truck. Remove the black tap and covering then tap into it there.
