so i woke up this moring ... usual day turned on my ranger... had a ruff misfire.. oh nooo!!! ahh. my ultraguage alarm went of.. showed me p0306... looked it up misfire 6 spark plug.. but found out it was my wire.. the wire was loose to were it just slips off.. thats a no no .. lol.. but getting all new wires... so decide to share my story..

Man I wish I would have known about the ultragauges before I bought a handheld scanner. Those things not only show relevant live data, but they are there all the time, read DTC,s and now from you post , I learned that they automatically read and display code right when it gets issued!
Maaaaaan... I'm usually more careful with my research.
