flowmaster 44 vs dynomax
 

Hey guys I just got my 02 ranger xlt 4.0l and was wondering what's a better exhaust the flowmaster or dynomax for loudness and durability the flowmaster is a lot cheaper and hear good things about them but I also hear good things about dynomax so what's the better choice? Thanks

If money is an issue just go with the Flowmaster. Both are probably just as durable as the next but duribility is not really an issue with a $40-$60 muffler if you ask me. As far as sound that is personal preference. If you think your truck is gonna sound like a true V8 you will be disapointed with whatever you pic. I'm not saying it wont sound good but dont expect to much out these trucks. you have the 4.0L so you got that goin for you. I have the 3.0 with Flowmaster 40 and think it sounds perfect for a V6. FYI: I am biased towards Flowmaster have had them on every truck I have owned lol
