'03 auto keeps blowing fuses

My little brother just got a 2003 edge 2wd with the 3.0 and automatic. Most of the time when he puts it in 2nd or 1st it blows a fuse. It also does it everytime he gets up on the torque converter, such as if he holds the brake with it in drive and gives it a little gas. I used it the other day to pull a boat and when I had to take off on a hill and before the rpms got high enough to lock the converter the fuse blew. The fuse that keeps blowing is the one that has the reverse lights, blower motor, airbag, and transmission on it. Im guessing by transmission they just mean the overdrive switch because the switch doesnt work when the fuse is blown but the transmission shifts fine without the fuse. I havent had anytime to mess with the truck because Im off at college and after I used it the other day I had to leave right after. Does anyone have any ideas why this fuse would keep blowing and there are no shorts in the circuit?

Does anyone have any ideas? I usually only deal with manual transmissions.
