31s on 2001 2wd Ranger?
So i've read all the threads and done as much research as I can, but I still can't find a definitive answer.
**Will 31" x 10.50" x 15" tires fit (without modifications) on my 2001 2wd ranger while at maxed out travel and at full turn?** http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/IMG_0897.jpg According to the Max tire chart: 01-08 XLT & XL 2wd * 15x7 stock suspension - 215x75x15, 235x75x15, 235x60x15, 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim) * 15x8 stock suspension - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim) I also do not know what width rim is currently on the truck... is there an easy way to measure? The guy at Belle Tire recommended an American Prospector A/T in the 31x10.50x15 size. Would this be good for daily driving and occasional off-roading? I was quoted $520 installed, 6 months same as cash. Thank you for reading this whole post. Hopefully one of you more experienced guys can help me out with this. |

Re: 31s on 2001 2wd Ranger?
i would say it might rub a little bit cus my edge not cranked at all or anything has 31x10.5/15 and when i turn super far they hit the mud flaps and im pretty sure thats about it that rubs so i would think yours would rub some more but not sure where. someone will have better imput, good luck

Re: 31s on 2001 2wd Ranger?
I had 31x10.5's on my 2000 2wd before i put the lift on and never had any problems. they never rubbed at all and i would hit railroad tracks at 60 and hit curves hard as hell and do donuts. your wheels should be 15x7. it should have the size stamped on them somewhere. take off the hupcap and it should be stamped under it between 2 of the lugnuts, thats where it says it on mine.
