which ones?

What size would look better with a body lift 32x11.5 or 33x12.5? And has anyone noticed any loss of mpg? i currently get around 15.5 mpg but if you can post up some pics so i can get an idea. Oh and has anyone ran some Kumho road venture mts and what kinda tread wear did ya get?

Re: which ones?

From the ones I've seen with the BL. 32s look more proportional to the truck than 33s unless you do a suspension lift to.

I haven't had a chance to check MPG. But going from 235s to 265s took away some get up n go.

Re: which ones?

hey man I would recommend 33x12.5, you will prolly end up wanting to go up to them anyways so you might as well go big first, not after a year deciding you want them, and trying to sell the 32's to get 33's. plus I hate the look of a skinny tire and 33x12.5 look perfect, but thats just me. im sure you will lose some mpg but not more than 1 or 2 mpg depending on how you drive and if its city or highway. IM suprised you arent getting more than that with the 245's. You should probably be getting close to 18 to 20 if you do mostly highway. lastly, idk about the Kumho's, i usually stick to goodyear and bfg's but im sure someone can help with that. just go 33x12.5 and make sure all maint. is up to date on the truck and drive the best you can to get the best mpg's you can get.

Re: which ones?

yea well i drive in town mostly but when i do go on the freeway i do get about 17-18 but i do have an automatic so i think that could also be a factor. but with the kumho's ive heard alot of good stuff about them i just dont know how long theyll last

Re: which ones?

I just looked em up, they look pretty good. just depends on how much you take care and rotate them. prolly 40,000 to 50,000 miles, 50 being on the top end. id say that be a pretty good average for never having the tire personally.

Re: which ones?

thats what i was hopefully thinking. so since i drive about 20k miles every year and a half they should last me 3 years..its either those or some wrangler duratracs. Ne one have any pics with both or either?

Re: which ones?

yah id recommend the AT, and at's do better on the ice anyways. dont get me wrong id love to have the look at Mt's, but they cost more, the ride is less friendly than at AT, and for my application, the at will do just fine you know.
