Neophyte here
Greetings to one and all,
My first Ranger purchase today. I am still getting use to it and learning the various systems too. According to the window sticker it has a Satellite radio capability, but I have yet to find it on the radio. After going through all the owner's manual functions. Plus there is no external satellite antenna. Any comments? Again I am glad to join this forum and hope to make new friends along the way. |
First off welcome
Press MENU repeatedly when satellite radio mode is active until SAT MENU is displayed. It will take you to channel 1 then you have to call the number 1–888–539–7474 and give them the radio ID to set it up. When buying the truck ford should have done this for you since you get some free time The sat radio antenna I believe is integrated into the antenna on the fender. If it is not the satellite radio module where the antenna is plugged into is located behind the glove box. If you hands are small enough you can reach up there and then follow the wire All the functions of the SAT (satellite) radio start on page 22 of the owners manual |
Welcome to FRF! I always though having the capability just meant it was easy to set up when you purchase the service...but I know nothing about it...soooo...yea
