engin revs at start
 
start the truck engine revs to 2,500 / 3,000 then comes down to idle after about 30 seconds.

1 checked for vaccume leaks- none to be found
2 checked and cleaned maf and Tb.
3 checked and cleaned iac working properly tried another with same result.

Going crazy any help would be great.:mad:

kinda sounds like a computer problem? it could be a sensor also. have a garage do a scan on the computer and see if they can pull anything up on it. thats all i can think of

throttle position may be up a little..... also cold mornings do that.

not to scare you but that could be a sign of building head pressure..... if thats the case get your truck looked at asap. mine did the same thing,,,,, is it running hot?

never had any oil leakage probs did you?
