Transmission fluid
 
i was wondering if anybaody knew wat fluid to put in my transmission..
1999 ford ranger xlt. 3.0, its a manual trany..

I would think a any brand name transmission fluid would do fine

yea... i looked on the owners manual...... Motorcraft
MERCONt ATF.... idk.. still researching

just call your local parts house then can tell you if it takes atf or most standards that use gear oil take 75w-90

Gear oil = differential fluid = 75W90.
Tranny fluid is just called ATF.
