New to the Ford Forum crew!
Hi my names Jeff, and I'm new to this forum.
I'm a proud Ranger XLT extra cab 4X4 3.0 liter owner. This is my second Ranger. This one just had ALL of it's seals, gaskets, sensors and serpentine belt replaced. I've replaced all of the suspension w/in the last year and a half. It has Monroe Sensitrac overload shocks on it. I had 31" Yokahomas put on it as well. I'm very happy with this truck. It's still a very young and well maintained Ranger 4X4. I just oredered the K&N cold air intake for it. I'm looking to pull more torque out of the 155 hp 3.0 liter 5 speed engine. I also have a straight pipe Flow Master exhaust running out the back. Does anyone have any other suggestions what I can do to get more torque for starting out in first gear on a daily basis and for pulling purposes? They would be great appreciated and accepted. Thanks! :-) |

Welcome to FRF, Jeff!

Welcome to FRF! The 3.0 isn't the most ballsy engine out there...so towing is kind of harsh on it.

Thanks for the welcome!
I'm looking forward to getting some more helpful information. Obviously I enjoy the heck out of the Rangers, being that this is my second! :-) :p

Re: New to the Ford Forum crew!
^ why are you taking someone elses Introduction thread (thats nearly 11 months old) and using it to tell us you don't have a ranger and trying to sell us the wheels and tires THAT needs to be posted in the classifieds section?
