MPG question.
So, my last tank of gas I got about 300 miles, about average for my ranger.
317miles /20gallons = Almost 16mpg. But I was thinking, my speedometer is about 4-5 mph slow, (ex - Going 64, shows 60) Meaning, the truck thinks I am going slower, and then traveling less distance? My miles would be a little behind too, correct? Meaning...I have better MPG that it shows? |
Re: MPG question.
when i first read it i thought, na its just the speedo. now that i kinda think about it, it does seem likely that it could be off to. sorry for no help haha

Re: MPG question.
You have a gps to get the miles, might show how far off your speedometer is at the same time.

Re: MPG question.
Good idea!

Re: MPG question.
Had to stop using the stock speedo and installed the gps in the dash, heck of a difference between the two. The only problem is when you got crappy reception after turning it on and knocks the mileage off for the first five minutes of driving.

Re: MPG question.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET 300 MILES OUT OF YOUR GAS TANK? I can only get around 210 <.< this really pisses me off
