Painting Control Arms/ Skid Plate
 

So I want to Paint my control arms Red, was wondering would I have to or would it be recommended to sand/grind them down first??.. I wouls also like to paint the stock skid plate that is on the truck, with that being chrome im sure I will have to rough it up a bit....

I would grind them off using a grinder or a drill with a rust/paint stripper. I did the whole underneath of my truck, ground it down and 3 coats of paint. This is what I used for stripping rust off

yeah red and black would be cool. I myself would grind off the chrome and paint it

I painted mine black and didnt scuff them at all

ur Control Arms?... then again mine might be a little rusty, sooo might have to.

Yea. ok Thanks man...btw to my other thread. Wish we knew of a place to go off roading
