Front end noise
I have a noise coming from the front of my truck. I hear it at low speeds usually. Sounds like a worn out spring. I also hear it backing out of the driveway. I have new front shocks and my bushings have been replaced recently too. I have never had a grease job on my 2001 Ranger with 199,000 miles. I have heard that the 2001 doesn't have grease fittings up front. Can anyone help me?

Re: Front end noise
My 2000 is also making alot of noise.. I believe the culprit is a worn out upper balljoint.
When I took my truck to get an alignment they told me it didnt have grease fittings, however when I replaced the wheel bearings on both sides I found grease fittings for both lower ball joints. Those are the only fittings I have seen on my truck. |
