Nice and good idea with the duct tape although I would think Caulk would be better I have been looking and I'm thinking about 2 Sound Storm SLR12D subs and a Boss Audio PH3000D amp in a basic box

I think you should get 4 18" Ascendant Audio SMD woofers with 4 Rockford Fosgate T4000.1bd's. It'll maybe rattle your back window just a tiny bit but it'll be worth it. People will subscribe to your Youtube videos like mad if you do. Oh, also, you have to have them put in a tahoe or else they won't be awesome.

For about $600 you could get an Audioque HDC3 12" sub and a MB Quart DSC 2000.1d amp and the proper amount of wire to hook it all up. I'm kinda biased though ;)

There's a reason why Boss' 3kw amp is so cheap. Under stock electrical, it probably will put out like 1k and heat up like a mofo.

Thats good...because my subs are 650Wrms each and my amp is 1200Wrms :) If I blow something, I can get something else...Im only going to have $50 invested in the amp...If it lasts 2 weeks, its worth it.

My 93 xlt ext cab had a cover that rolled out that just cleared my box. Maybe you can go to a JY and find one if your truck doesnt have one.
