Replace Thermostat 1994 2.3 question
 

In a 94- 2.3 with ac/str. Do ya hafta pull the timimg cover to get to the one neck bolt or can ya just pry the cover out of the way?

you don't need to move the cover at all

just did mine the other day....the only thing you have to remove is the upper radiator hose.

the housing is a PITA to get to, but it is possible if you work slow.

if i remember right, they are 2, 10mm bolts holding the housing on

on mine they were 8mm. make sure you use the 192/195 motorcraft tstat. make sure the tstat is set properly in the housing. make sure you fill the radiater and overflow so the system can belled the air out....
