HELP removing wheel drums
 

Hi everyone
I've been trying to remove the wheel drums on my 2005 fx4 ranger to get rid of she sqeal when i hit my breaks. I have been wackin at the drum for a while trying to slide if off but i cant get it. Anyone have any tips?

Parking brake on?

If not I have had them stick pretty good. Just gotta hit it pretty good

you are probably going to have to back the shoes off to get the drums off. theres probably lip on the drums that are holding them on to the shoes.

Thanks for the input guys. I just really had to smack it hard with hammer for it to budge. :) . Got it all taken apart and back together and finally got rid of that damn squeak.
