What is the best way to clean cloth seats?

I have a 2010 4x4 xlt Ranger with gray cloth seats.
When water gets on them what ever is in the cushioning under the seat covers comes out and looks terrible.
It looks like something is spilled on them.
What is the best wat way to deep clean the seats?

Thank You.

Steam cleaner then foaming cleaner, suck out with a wet/dry vac.

When I first got my truck, I took it to a detailer and they pulled the seats out and power washed them and wet vacuumed them.Drove home on towels and ran a fan through the interior for a day and they looked like new.

You'll need to deep clean them by getting them wet enough to get down to the grime in the foam. This would require a good bit of water. Steam cleaning can work too, if you are patient enough with it.

I would suggest whatever method you use, to make sure you get the seat good and hot when you are drying it, to reduce the chance of "that musty smell"

When I installed 2004 seats in my 2001, before putting them in I steam cleaned them one section at a time. We put a little bit of upholstery cleaner in the water too. The steam cleaning did an EXCELLENT job and it didn't leave them wet at all really. I put them out in the sun (they're black seats) for about 6-8 hours and they were dry as a bone.

They were in TERRIBLE shape before I cleaned them, with a lot of coffee staining in the middle if the drivers seat. ALL of it came out.

My sister lent me her Gruenheim hydrovacuum for a day. I borrowed it to clean the upholstery of my old F-150. It really removed all the stubbon dirt and stains on the seats and on my truck's ceiling. The hydrovacuum was quite expensive though, so I didn't end up buying one for myself.

No eating or drinking in the truck. Seat covers...seat covers!
Steam cleaning and a powerful shop vac.

If you an air compressor, the Tornador is great for deep cleaning.

Carpet shampooer with pet attachment. Or one of those portable handheld shampooers. Fill with oxyclean and gag at what comes out.

If you're interested in cleaning cloth car seats, you're probably looking for the best way to do it. Many products claim to clean cloth car seats, but they're not all created equal. The best results come from a pressure washing method with detergents. The guys from https://sparklewash.com/upstate/ did a great job, and the seats are new. The pressure washer injects detergents into the cloth seat to remove the dirt and grime. This is a very effective method that anyone can afford and I recommend it to all my friends.
