2003 ranger 3.0 wont rev past 3000 when driving
 

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I'm in need of some advice, please. I now live in England and imported my 2003 3.0 Ranger. A couple weeks back I noticed it wouldn't rev past 3000 rpm in any gear, its automatic. I tried the local dealer who plugged it into their computer thing, and said there is nothing wrong as there are no codes showing, I'm stuck and can't find anyone to speak to about this as I am in England {dealerships didn't have a clue what I was talking about} anyway its like the rev limiter is stuck and it just wont rev. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.
