Easy Way to remove paint?

2 Attachment(s)
So. One of the previous owners decided it was a good idea to spray paint the Ranger over the factory paint to make it "look" cooler. Really just looks like a poorly half-assed teenager paint job. Luckily, they didn't clear coat the spray paint or sand off some factory paint (by the looks of it). My factory color is the deep wedge wood blue. (I have an 01).

My question is, is there an easy way to take off paint without hurting the paint underneath? Or should I just get repainted? I have attached a picture to show what some spots are looking like since the black is starting to come up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You might Google how people remove graffiti and spray paint without damage...

Laquer thinner or some sort of paint clean up liquid. As long as the clear coat is intact underneath you should be able to wipe it away given they painted it with rattle cans.
