Lowered/Stock Rangers on 18 inch wheels

Please post pics of your stock/lowered Ranger on 17 or 18s and explain what you did for fitment. I'm going to go with a bigger wheel but don't want it to look too awkward. I'm going to put 295/45r18 on my truck which is the same height as 235/75r15s for handling (my truck struggles for traction going around hairpins and wide sweeping turns at 75) and looks. Also, looking for wheels that will push the wheels out from under truck. Planning on pre-runner fenders and bedsides for a "wide body" look. Thanks:D

Wouldn’t recommend the wider wheels simply to accommodate off-road fenders imo. I have 17x8 Bullitt mustang wheels with 235/55/17 tires. Needed 1” wheel spacers to make them fit and look decent. Plan on going with 285/40/18 tires soon as I decide on a wheel.

That looks good af man. But I'm not doing the wider wheels just for the fenders, I plan on basically making a race truck for the track(not drag racing)/street. And the fenders would be mostly for keeping rocks and other debris from getting kicked up into the rest of the body w/ the added benefit of looking cool. Nice ride though man

I'm running 245/45r18s on my 18x9s with a 1.5" spacer and a 3/5 drop, and I can't even fit my fingers all the way between the front tires and fenders, but they don't ever touch. Rear is a little better but over large bumps there's a tiny little nub that just barely rubs that I need to shave down. That being said, I do plan on getting prerunner fenders so I can go with a larger offset in the future and maybe 17x10/12 front/rear. The fitment is almost perfect but I want to be able to push it harder and lower eventually.

Nice truck man! Just picked up some 18x8.5s in front and 18x9.5s in the rear. Did you have to add spacers to fit or was it fine without? Also, where did you get that ducktail spoiler?

I'm running a 1.5" spacer, but that's just because these wheels have a positive offset. Other wheels might not need them.
I made the ducktail, pretty much just a hinge, plexi, and cheap hardware store supports.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...763b5f1758.jpg
