I'm saying good by to this site, I may stop in once in a while but today I sold my Ranger. At almost 170,000 miles with no real problems to speak of since owning it brand new my wife and I decided its time for a new one. Mainly her vehicle is paid for, mine has been for about 7 years, if we get me a new(er) one now we can have it paid off before we think of replacing hers someday.
My veins still run Ford blue and I will likely be rolling in an F150 next week, I still want to sell my 97 F250 to make a larger down payment and it will hopefully go to a new owner tomorrow.

The young gal that bought my truck I wrote this website and a few others down and handed her a page full of info. She said she will try to fix things herself and I said the folks here will do all they can to help her fix it herself. She looked as happy taking ownership today as the day I bought it new in 2007. I told her Ranger fans have about the same kind of cult following Jeeps do, I just ask you all help her as much as you've helped me.
I've always appreciated the help, criticism, sarcasm, joking and advice given on here, I would like to think I've contributed some (even those times when Jim Beam may have been influencing my words). I have no extra parts, manuals or anything else to fit a Ranger to pass on and this place isn't the wealth of knowledge on F150's that other sites are (though many of you frequent my other ford truck places).

Then again in 6 months I'll probably want another Ranger and I might be back.
