Interchangeable front bumpers..?

Can anyone tell me what years of Rangers front bumpers will fit my 2000 Ford Ranger Ex-tended cab XLT 2.5L 5speed manual 2WD..? I've become so confused because I've been given so many different answers that I'm not sure I could make a decision on buying one at this point... Can someone please shed some light on this for me...?

Hi, and this is an excellent question.
I hope somebody gives you a good answer, because I also would like to know that. and this thread will also become a good resource for other that will look up interchangeability of bumpers. so yeah I'm actually looking for front and rear bumpers interchangeability because I definitely want to replace my rear bumper, but I also want to do my front eventually.

LMAO! This is a Ranger forum, why post a resume whether it's fake or not?

I was just thinking how many people like this willingly throw ALL of their personal information on the open net like this assuming the good nature of all to suppress the mischievousness of others..

Any chance you could add the last 4 of your SSN, inseam measurement, last years Taxable income and deductions as well the first and last 6 Strands of your DNA code in the next post? Oh and your Mothers Maiden name? j/k

And to answer your question; 93'-11' all "rear" bumpers are interchangeable

Ideally your truck generation is from 98'-00'. In 01' The grill changed a bit putting a deeper depression in the bumper top giving the Ranger a new and updated character facial update. So if you're looking for a replacement bumper say at rockauto.com or an aftermarket sourced one, your 4th Gen ranger is the range you want to stay within.

Ive talked with those guys, the only "great" thing is they ship the bumper in 3 pieces for less cost in shipping to the end user..
Other issues would require you to finish the product on your own, hopefully having access to welding equipment or knowing someone that does.

Shy of the 'okay' aesthetics, the cost factors move up substantially still for add-ins like Lights, Hi lift jack points or mount, winch plate changes, the hoops are all bolt in also requiring welding for real use. And the only reason they fit 98-11 is due to the tremendous under bite look the bumper takes on for the winch plate well. NOTE their side profile pics how far extended the bumper is.

The fact they ship it in raw steel is cool, less damage to be present during shipping.

I was working on a Co-op with them in order to create a line of bumpers and rear multicarrier bumpers, they were more interested in my designs than what we could do together. I wouldn't say they gave me a "bad" feeling but I didn't feel the pressure of gimmie-gimmie your designs was even worth the effort of legal NDAA's...

I've since found better options with someone else looking to expand their own lineup.
