body mounts

well the cab mounts on my 1990 rangerext cab are being a pain in the ass to get out ive tried everything i can think of to get them out its the style of mount where the bottom cushion retainer slips into the upper cushion retainer and im having a hell of a time getting the front passenger side one out so if yall have any tricks or tips it would be much appreciated

i got the back passenger side one out by threading a spare bolt in backwards then hitting it from the top inside the cab

yea thats what i mostly done i lifted my cab just enough to cut the rubber bushings on my truck and get the weight off them. then i got inside the cab with a old rod that fits in the hole and beat the shit out of it and when they finally come out i just bought new ones from LMC Truck cause it messes them up

Re: body mounts

alright i found a way to get them out , you cut out the bottom rubber biscuit and then shove a ball joint fork in there then jack the end of the fork upward and once its level hit it towards the cab with a hammer it may take a bit but it gets the job done

and this nightmare is offically behind me! good thing i got polyurethane bushings hopefully ill never have to do this again haha
