2007 Ranger SAS
New to the forum so I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Someone told me to start a build thread... I'm pretty sure that this is where I'm supposed to do that? Pictures coming as soon as I can figure out how to upload them... any help here?
Anyways... I've got dreams way bigger than my bank account. Stay tuned to watch a completely stock 2007 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 turn into a mild rock crawler. I've got the front axle, an Early Bronco Dana 44 with disc brakes, over at a friends garage where we will be building this project. Explorer 8.8 and a set of 35" KM2's sitting in my backyard and just ordered $1100 worth of shit from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. Other than that I have made no progress on the build so far besides cutting all of the D44 axle brackets off for a truss and link set up. No engine or transmission swaps in mind so far, my faith is in well built axles and transfer cases, not horsepower. |

Here is a picture of my Bronco 44. I guess you could call this the "before" picture. "After" coming in about 2 weeks... hopefully. ---------- |
