Looking at 95' Flareside F150

After a hiatus, I am back! For now...

Anyway, the guy up the street from me is selling a 95' Ford Flareside which looks to be in good shape, but the front suspension needs to be rebuilt. When I had my 03' Ranger, I rebuilt my front suspensions (struts, ball joints, etc). I will be taking a more in-depth look at the truck this afternoon.

He is looking for someone to make an offer. Depending on what I see, I am thinking $500.

Thoughts?

suspension on that truck is a bit more complicated (aka pain in the ass) compared to the ranger. Worst part is most people don't know how to properly align them, and the ones that do can charge an arm and a leg to get it in spec.

I would be curious to see what he means by "fallen suspension". It could be like my bronco where a spring broke.
