2001 2.3ltr swap for 3.0

I know you guys would know everything I need to know.. Is the v6 3.0 engine mounts, same as the 2.3ltr? What else needs to happen? I would be swapping the tranny also.. Thanks in advance..:driver:

The 3.0 is not worth the swap. Look for a 4.0 SOHC if you're going to do an engine swap

I second that. If you already have the 3.0 there are plenty of people that would buy it. If it were a 2000 I would say 5.0.....

Ok.. I understand but my issue is that the 2.3ltr is blown and I found a 3.0 for 300 bucks with tranny.. thoughts?

Find a rolled Explorer with a good running gear and a 5.0 for $300.
