Does the frame already have mounting holes for a hitch?
 

Bought a Hidden Hitch 2" receiver at the junkyard for $30. Are there already holes in the frame to mount it? Truck is a 1998 2WD RG 2.5L 5-speed if that matters.

Should be,my 2004 had holes..Lots of videos on YouTube on mounting it.

Yeah there's like six sets of holes. If it's made for a ranger some combination of them should work.

Yes there are mounting holes in the frame but all you had to do was look for yourself.

Just getting around to this, and no it doesn't have all the holes.

Should have a hole behind the bumper bracket but it doesn't. It's a flareside if it matters.

Did you buy a universal kit or a ranger specific hitch?

As my first post says, I bought a Hidden Hitch receiver at the junkyard that was mounted on another Ranger.
