94 5.0 drift truck cage

So before the rx7 gets a cage for time attack, I'm going to build the cage for the ranger first . So In order to run tandem , you have to be caged with door bars and the way things are going my buddy (Nissan v8 91 s13) and me are shooting for just that .
I've collect a few ideas which I will post . I'm pricing tubing locally of course . But was also looking at bolt/Weld in options . All will be welded if even a bolt in kit along with add ins for extra support bracing . I haven't really come across any for my for 93-97 chassis but have seen for the 92 box style and older chassis . Any first hand knowledge on fitting/modding older chassis cage would be nice along with and cages you've built or seen .

If you want the a real race level cage Solo Motorsports in Covina, CA (I think Covina) sells a weld it yourself race cage kit. Comes laser cut and notched for a complete cab cage and is set up to tie into both an engine and bed cage. It's 2500 though. But it takes the thinking out of it. Just tack it together and finish up with a bead and you're good to go. It fits any ranger after 86. The page has a picture of their race truck that rolled with this cage and it looks like barely anything happened to it.
