Few pics from today (new tails and window decals)
 

So today the power was out for a good 3 hours due to a severe thunderstorm. There was intense non-stop rain for like 4 hours and some marble sized hail. In about 30 minutes of this rain most streets were flooded. I took a drive through my end of the city and got a video of going down a main street and it's flooded. Also thought I'd take a few shots of my truck when the skies started to clear.
So here they are (took them with my blackberry so quality isn't the best):

New smoked tails, not too dark, just a couple coats of niteshade, some of you will prob not like them but I do so whatev:

Recently my friend passed away and these decals were drawn up and made for him, tons of cars around the city have em. Dont mind the black tape, its just temporary.

EDIT: The storm pulled a U-ey and is pouring rain again. Like the worst year for weather... snow up until late May and now rain everyday. First time in 30 years my grandfather's crop is not being seeded.

niteshade, i saw some of that stuff at pepboys, i didnt know how dark it was going to be so i didnt get it, but what is the name of that stuff. i like it and i might do it to mine. only thing is how is the finish on that. i would only do it if it was smooth and real clean looking, you know

My brother actually did these. He had them on his 06' but his truck is a 2-bulb and these are 3-bulb and they are illegal I think so he took them off and bought stock ones. He gave these to me free. I actually don't know what type of niteshade he used. The right one isn't the greatest, theres lines where he kind of messed up but it doesn't bother me too much. I've gotten a lot of compliments on how clean they look, so they are good enough. I could text him and ask what type of niteshade he used but it might just be quicker googling, I can't imagine there is much difference between brands.

Looks good.

The nice thing about nightshade is you can make it as light or as dark as you want.

yeah i know it might be illegal, but you can buy blacked out lights or get like these shade things for them. but really i dont want to make them so dark to were mybe a cop would question them i just want to have them be a little darker. im about to get a flip kit and lower my ranger 4 in. and i just think with some black talilights it would look good. but yeah i think they are for offroad use only

Okay well... uh.... these tails were not on for long. I had grad Monday and my dad used my truck to pick me up at 6am yesterday (after grad) and he backed into a garbage bin and there's a nice hole in it. He wants to only buy another one of the same but I'm gonna talk him into buying me new ones.
