KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
hey guys i just picked up some lights from r0ng5 and got them in yeaterday. i had them orininally in the holes in the bumper for the license plate but i was advised that they were kinds useless so low and close together. So today i loves them to where they are this morning. i used the dremel and mounted them where they are now. what you guys think???

Re: KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
can you tilt them up and down and do you know what part # daylighter that is
I'm guessing 6" slimlight or something like that, I might have to eventually get new lights for my lights up top and I need some that tilt. I made some brackets for my daylighters but I would still need them to tilt farther if I lift the rear anymore this is what I mean http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...1256954259.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...1256954275.jpg |

Looks good curt!
Too tall for the garage Casey? |
Re: KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
yeah I've had to cut 1" out of the spacer then make those brackets so I can fold them down and now I have maybe 1/4" clearance with them folded as far down as I can get.
The flip side is, I am 1" lower in the rear than the front, so if I get new leaf springs to raise the rear up I'm going to be screwed |
Re: KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
yea they tilt. here is a pic of the bracket. they can tilt forward to a little past parallel to the ground. back not quiet as far.... there are two screws one on each side of the mount to hold it at the right angle. i dont know the part # i bought used. i can look into it tho if you want

Re: KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
cool deal, don't worry about it I can quit being lazy and find them. I wasn't sure if any kc lights came with that type of bracket or not.
Thanks edit, hell yeah. Those could solve my problems when the time comes, I can get hellas that fold down but I want a 6" round light. I've already kind of crunched one light because it came up a bit while I was driving and didn't notice going into the garage haha |
Re: KC Daylighters Installed- PICS(56k idk) input?
