Ranger club Portland

Anybody know if a Ranger Club exists in Portland. If not, one should be started.

Up here there are a lot of Honda, Subie, VeeWee, clubs. But clearly there is no Ranger Owners Club. I think it's about time the micro truck gets some recognition. But how am I going to accomplish that successfully.

I was up there in the summer and saw a big subie / Honda meet. I don't know how to start one, but I'd join. I'm not going to know anyone when I move there so it will be a good way to meet people.

Did you find a job up here or something?

Re: Ranger club Portland

Not yet. I was planning to move there about four years ago with a friend, but I ran into some issues that kept me here. So I decieded to finish school before moving and I graduate in June. I just don't want to live in one area my whole life and I've always loved Oregon and the culture in Portland.

If you know anyone hiring let me know. lol.

Portland culture is different throughout the city. I would highly suggest getting a place not in Multnomah County where Portland resides. I live in Troutdale which is super nice and on the verge of the country, but I keep my residence in Clackamas which is the next county over. Tax reasons man :). Portland/Multnomah County can suck my left nut. I personally try to avoid going into Portland if I can avoid it. Too many anti gun bush hippies.

What kind of skills do you have? Or are you a jack of all trades master of none lol. I'm a arborist, I deal with trees.

Re: Ranger club Portland

I actually plan to move as close to downtown Portland as possible. I really like the wierd hippy art life, which is what attracted me to the city. I'm not opposed to guns at all and clearly like stuff like trucks and off-roading. I keep an open mind to all points of view and don't base my views on anyone's opinions but my own. So I'm kind of all over the place socially.

I'm getting my bachlores in buisness administration emphasising marketing management. So I'd like to go to marketing and/or advertising/public relations. My goal is to try and work for OHSU. But I can weld and fabricate and other stuff too. I'm kind of like you said, a jack of all trades, master of none.

I wouldn't mind having taking part in a meet, I'm across the river in Vancouver. Rents and the real estate market are ridiculous here right now.

Shits all fucked up in the PNW. Vancouver (aka Vantuckey :) ) I know from list ironing to the radio news that you guys are having like a rent spike and problems with that kind of stuff. Down here in the Portland area every living space is super expensive. Roommates are almost a must unfortunately.

Yeah im aware of the rapid increase of rent up there. It's really unfortunate. I actually plan to find a house with roommates. As long as we all have similar interest and get along having roommates really isn't that bad and would be a easy way to make friends and network.
