ignition lock for a 99 ranger XLT
 

put in a new ignition lock with ford's Passive Anti-Theft System.I folllowed everything to install and program of ignition lock key. But the key will not program with the computer.,where or what can i do now? thank you buck

Hi,

I changed the one out on my 2000 Ranger and had to take it to the dealership for them to reprogram the keys to the truck. You need both keys that come with the new ignition lock and it takes em about 15 mins. Cost about $100.
