Clips and Fasteners dot com

This company also sells on Ebay as pageauto1.
They advertise one color of trim parts, then send the wrong color. When you say anything, they 1st want pictures, become argumentative, and refuse to admit their mistake, then they'll want you to send the item back on your dime, PLUS a 15% restocking fee!

These people WILL rip you off!

Stay away from Clips & Fasteners Dot Com!!

I used them directly from their website, and had no issues. But then all I was buys was clips and fastners...

What? you figured I ordered light bulbs?
I ordered Gray Christmas tree clips just as they described GRAY *keyword* Even in their description. GRAY.
They sent Dk. Graphite, said those were GRAY. Dk. Graphite is not GRAY. They even said those pieces were GRAY, and argued the fact that they were, when they are not.
The main issue is they basically said "F**CK YOU!< YOU GOT WHAT YOU"RE GOING TO GET, IF you want to return them fine, but it'll cost ya."

The broken clip is on the left NOTE The Color. It is GRAY The clip on the right is what they sent. They Did Not specify Dark anything, Just GRAY as the piece on the left. Then got indignant when called out on it.

While I understand the frustration...I could see both 'generally' being considered gray by someone that isn't familiar with Ford color names (Clips & Fasteners).

Technically I don't believe Ford ever offered a basic 'gray' is an official interior color option either.

Isn't it something like 'medium graphite' (lighter one) & 'dark graphite' (darker one)?

One could technically say 'medium graphite' isn't gray just like you've said 'dark graphite' isn't gray. Shades are a crappy deal!!

All those technicalities aside - it sucks they wouldn't work with you on just swapping the item and being done with it all though.

I see.

I have looked in their catalog and for what you described in your other thread. I only see a listing for Dark Grey and Nylon Blue in the size that you purchased.

The way I see it you have 2 options. Try and work with the seller and explain. If you or them doesnt have the patience for that I would file a buyer protection claim with Ebay.(I think i saw that you purchased from ebay.)

Guess when you said 'interior trim parts' I thought, I don't know, maybe you were ordering interior trim parts. Stupid of me really, I see now...

Went through all that. Ebay sided in my favor, but wants me to print out a shipping label, or make my own. First, I don't have a printer readily available. And, I don't feel I should pay the shipping back to them. they Fkd up not me. Also I refuse the idea of a 15% restocking fee on their mistake.
Since I figured I was stuck with them, I just got come gray paint and a teenie tiny roller.

Good Info to know. Thanks
Gonna check the window sticker, and see if it is specified on there.

so another thing to think about. If you filed a protection claim due to product not being as described the shipping is on the sellers dime.

Ebay didn't mention that, but it still doesn't produce a printer for their label. I have one at home, but no internet there. The last time I tried saving something for print out later, It got lost. so As before, I guess I'm stuck with them.
