lowering and edge??
Im new to the forum, i read two threads on this but they were old and didnt want bring them back up! so i have a 2002 edge 2wd, i read about hw difficult this is! so i have to back out a bolt on the t-bars to lower the front?? where exactly it this bolt?? and hw much will it drop it??
for the rear i plan on removing the block! its the front im confused about! im goin with 20s so im not wantin to go very low! thanks Mark! |
Re: lowering and edge??
You don't need to remove the Red part, it's the only picture I could find. The green arrow is where the adjuster bolt is. You could get some 08+ torsion keys because they're 1 1/2" lower stock.

Re: lowering and edge??
you dont see people trying to lower their Tacoma Prerunner, right? That essencially is exactly what a 2wd Edge/Sport IS....a tacoma prerunner.

Re: lowering and edge??
Well excuse me for trying to get some help!!! i said in my first post i didnt want to bring up on old post and NO i didnt have the same question!!
Thanks for your help casper!! |
Re: lowering and edge??
Yeah... I'm not sure why Alan & Shane are giving you a hard time. It's true that slamming an edge isn't easy, but you clearly said in the beginning that you didn't want to go very low. Many people have lowered their Ranger edge so don't worry about it, just understand that lowering it beyond the height of a stock XLT is a bit complicated.
This is basically how your Ranger will look: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/IMG_2778.jpg |
Re: lowering and edge??
thanks Tom thats about how i want it!
im goin with 20s also, those rims look smaller than 20s so it should look exactly like i want it! |
