Can anyone help link me to the correct stuff I will need for a live axel swap? I need the cv axels from an explorer and the ranger front hubs for a 2000 4x4 this is all new to me so if someone could help that would be sweet

You need the half shafts from an 01 ranger and hubs

The conversion from vacuum hubs to live axle happened mid model year in 2000. My 2000 has live axle, but not all of them do. To be safe, you should go with the parts from an 01.

thanks guys but a buddy of mine told me all I had to do was the vacuum hub mod and it work. Simple as taking the hub off and removing a metal clip. So now I basically bypass the vacuum system and have live axels

Can you switch from vacuum hubs to manual locking hubs
