The new (to me) Leer canopy

Went monday and picked up my Leer canopy shell, originally it was sonic blue to match the previous ranger it was on. All in all i've got less than $200 invested in it paint and all. Needs a little more work seeing that some of the led's on the high mount brake light are out, but other than that, she's a beauty.

Sorry for the only crappy picture, still havent replaced my camera from the tragic bahamas incident. more pics to come.

Thanks everybody, it was def a great find. It also doesn't hurt to have friends with paint booths.lol

I've got to figure out how to wire the dome light on the inside of the shell and talk to jp7 about reworking the led's on the brake light, then get the locks re keyed.

Rekeying? Take them out and them to the locksmith to be rekeyed.

Open the doors and look on their outer edge for a black metal tab just inside the door parallel with where the lock is located outside. If its there you can pull it out-its a locking shim that secures the door lock. Remove it with a pair of needle nose, be careful there in there pretty good, and then carefully unsnap the plastic collar on the back of the door lock sylinder to release it. You can remove the igniton by removing the lower steering column shroud, and inserting the key, turning to its accessory position, and pushing up on the locking pin found under the lock housing with an ice pick, or similar technical tool, and then gently and slowly pull it straight out keeping it horizontal.

I may have worded that wrong, the only locks that I need re keyed are the ones on the canopy. The rest of my locks are good. Lol I appreciate the advice though.
